OTD:
TSR Rosebud Dress

Review: Bought this from TSR's rack during the miyoc event at jcube! Retailed at 33 i think, it was love at first sight for this dress really. I usually don't wear items with mesh cos i think its even too girly for me but this one was subtle and complemented the dress perfectly. I like the intricately sewn on rosebuds, it really looks very nice upclose. Length is perfect for me, cutting is flared and material is good. Would have been perfect if i hadn't taken the wrong size (out of excitement). -_- Took M which is too big for me at the waist and ptp but nothing a belt can't solve. Overall... super good buy! Though the sizing is off but i really do love the design:)

A rare good skin day:)

I like going light on makeup nowadays. Main purpose is for sun protection only actually :x so i just use tinted moisturizer usually for some SPF.

Upclose of the pretty rosebuds!

Met up with nics at plaza sing:)

We watched "Now You See Me"!
I was actually super skeptical about watching it at first cos i had no idea what it was about and nics was like, "lets just watch it alot of ppl say its good~" But yup im glad we watched it in the end!
 IT WAS SO GOOD.
nuff said. Easily my fav + the best one i've watched this year:) The twists in the story was epic, the effects and storyline was really refreshing as well. Loved it:)
and omg i didn't know the female lead was Isla Fisher until i actually googled this pic :x she looked so diff from the confessions of a shopaholic series!

After movie we settled for Nana's Green Tea! The desserts tempted us in basically haha.
Level 3, Plaza Singapura

Started taking silly pictures lolol, but its like just me cos nics is so glam here
nah, she couldn't resist joining in after awhile

Our matcha parfait arrived!! We both loved it:) It comes with green tea ice cream, cornflakes in the middle, vanilla ice cream, red beans, mochi and green tea jelly at the bottom! Super yums:)
Priced at about $12! Good for two person to share:)
Our mains! We both ordered the same thing lolol, Salmon Chirashi! Had this super big craving for salmon.
This one is yummy and they are generous with the salmon servings, recommended! Comes with complimentary miso soup:) Priced at 14.8, i thought it was quite worth it cos the serving is big.
We missed out on the lunch promo which is super worth it (13.8 for main dish + dessert), so if you visit them during lunch hours that'll be good!:)
"you take finish pic alr anot i want to eatttt"

After that we went shopping at daiso hahah, and bought these matching fluffy earmuffs!
We were like talking about year end holidays and turns out that we r both prob going japan! So i was like, "nics lets arrange same flight LOL then we wear the earmuffs tgt hahahaa"

kays that was a pretty long post:)
xoxo; till then!

Bring me back to New Zealand

[5/9/13]
3:03am. Its getting later and later, i think im getting used to this being a night owl thing.
Feeling quite productive today, managed to finish my arenes quiz, bio practical, differentiation tutorial and somewhat half of integration tutorial. It feels great to be focused and actually stay on task, something i need to master definitely.
Just a few hours ago at 6pm i was so tired i literally crashed. So far i've crashed a few times before but today's was the worst so far.
I set the alarm for 7.45pm but apparently i wouldn't wake up or rather, couldn't, no matter how many times it rang. This is the first time this happened.
I finally understand how one can be so tired that nothing seems to stand between your physical and mental fatigue, and dreamland. It probably helped that i was in the midst of a super intense dream as well.
Not much appetite for dinner cos it was 9.45 when i woke up, luckily i woke up at a reasonable time though, there was once i woke up at 12am lol and then everything was pretty screwed up and i was like, oh heck it im just going back to sleep -_-

okay sorry im crapping again haha.

Just a thought that has been repeatedly whirling in my mind.
My family loves traveling so i've actually been to quite a few places since young, but because i was young i don't remember much from those times.
It must be quite memorable if i actually remember it.

And one of those i actually remember is of New Zealand. Till date its still one of my fav trips ever.
My parents chose a side of New Zealand with so much nature, greenery and grassy plains, with animals and those lovely cottage-like houses i absolutely adore.
Daddy managed to find a nice elderly couple who owns a farm and takes in visitors.
It was such a cozy feeling, a totally new experience.
We had breakfast with fresh milk and cereal, those kind we'll never find in singapore.
My big bro and I were wearing our sweatshirts and exploring the farm soon after.
It was super breezy and the wind was blowing strongly against our cheeks.
But the view was superb and the whole feeling of being there was so calming and i loved it.
There were a lot of sheeps on the plains, and in the barn our host sheared a sheep and we were watching in awe. Wool actually doesn't look too nice when freshly sheared btw haha.
And then after braving the cold we'll go back into the house where there are super awesome heaters.
Its really random but one of my fav things was the heater xD I'd sit in front of it for hours just warming my hand and sticking my toes up, feeling all toasty and warm.
I'd just sit there on the carpet and look out of the glass window, where i can see the snow.
I really like the feeling of being in a cold country and looking at the snow, but at the same time staying in the house where the warm heaters are and just drink some hot chocolate while watching the view.
Its a different kind of travel, different from the usual viewing of scenery and shopping and taking of touristy shots.

Of course every country and every trip has its own magic. Sometimes its nice to visit cities and soak up the upbeat vibes, but give me a country trip to grassy fields of gold and those cottages i swear i'm gonna live in one day and it'd be perfect.

Its always good to have dreams. I'm keeping my country dream for now, and a long time to come.
xoxo.

Mirabelle Gardens

Austria Day 3; Mirabelle Gardens

So on the third day we visited the famous Mirabelle Gardens where the sound of music was filmed:) Our local guide made us sing doremi here hahaha. I actually think this place is so much more beautiful in spring and summer. I was there the prev year for choir trip during spring/summer and there were so many colourful flowers, super pretty. Quite a different sight from the dreary winters. I mean winter has its beautiful aspect as well but gardens in winter are just meh.

And at the back you can see the highest building high up above the rest! Its actually a fortress which was there since hundreds of years ago, talk bout long history haha.

Beautiful houses and river. Seriously everything is so beautiful there:)

On the bridge we saw alot of these locks! Apparently its a wishing ground for lovers to pray for everlasting love:) Obviously I didn't have anyone to pray with hahaha. #foreveraloneeee

And then we walked past this zebra crossing and line of shops which was deja vu again for me! NYChoir walked past this exact spot 2 years ago!!:) Aww i still remember the good times.
& then we moved on to the central plaza/shopping ares for a break and lunch! See this cool vintage/antique shop symbol?:) In the past they didnt have modern signboards so they used these metal signboards which were hanging from the top. Each shop's metal signboard was so intricate, i can't believe even a signboard here is more intricate than our hdb lol.

Oh yes, Mozart was born in this area:) There is actually a mozart museum here but the tour guide didnt bring us there. I visited it 2 year ago though! It had like mozart's bed and err tables and stuff. Basically his furniture and abit of info about his stay here in the past:)

PINK HOUSE :)
We saw this ultimate fluffball hehehe uber cute!

Swarovski Museum was up next! Oh yeah there's alot of swarovski shops in this area, they even have a swarovski museum lol!

Aww this pic is so nice:) It was snowing after we came out of the museum and the cam happened to capture it so nicely!
Giant accordion which actually played music, one of my fav exhibits:) Oh and it was studded with lotsa swarovski crystals but you guys cant see it in the pictures><

Lookie my cam can capture the drifting snowflakes ^_^ And im wearing my bro's hat cos he doesn't like it lolol

Thats for Day 3!

Time to slot in a random review cos i have no other post to put it :x

LB Addison Crop Top in Butterscotch Yellow XS
Topshop Eyelet Skirt

Pardon my jutting bone -_-

Review: I can never get enough of crop tops, they do wonders for my petite frame:) I usually pair highwaist skirts/shorts with crop tops for a taller frame and more defined silhouette at the waist. I love the addison crop top:) Its made of chiffon, somewhat double layered so its kinda not sheer but cooling at the same time. Spore is too hot nowadays so i think i'll be wearing this out pretty often. The heart shaped cut out at the back makes it more unique, the front looks like a normal basic crop top but the back detail gives it an element of surprise:) I got this in indigo as well, will review it when i've worn it out:) A good buy overall but it'll be even better if its more pocket friendly since the material used to make this is relatively a lot lesser than other normal lb apparels!
PS/this item is on sale on lb's site now so if you like it this is a good chance to get it at a discount:)
