Blonde Ambition

/ / m a i n / /

hola my dear readers/friends!!
so as the title aptly described...i have gone BLONDE ;)))

okay not full on blonde, i'm not so brave just yet, but blonde highlights for a start!
you might have noticed that i chopped off a good portion of my locks too, and boy it felt good.
it was liberation and silky smooth locks once again after snipping those horrible dry ends off, good riddance haha.
so lets see how it started off shall we?
i can't even look at this picture of gosh, those dry ends are so bad!
lets just say that bleaching + perming is really not a good idea at all.

after a few hours of chatting with my stylist nic, reading up on the latest runway trends and a much needed nap, i woke up to gorgeous gorgeous blonde streaks!
so so impressed by nic's skills once again, please look for him when you're there!
a good hairstylist makes all the difference especially when it comes to colouring/haircuts, really!

for my highlights here, it required 2 times of bleaching, but not to worry this free hand highlight technique will not cause damage to the scalp because it does not touch the scalp at all.
also, you may not believe it but even after bleaching two times, after doing a mucota treatment, my hair felt softer and even silkier than before, maybe because the dry ends were all snipped off:)
and i'm saying this 2 weeks after i got the bleaching done, my hair is still smooth and very manageable!
and look at the super nicely done v-shaped haircut nic did for me, much love!!

here are some more pictures of my new hair colour and shorter, sleeker do!
hope you guys like it as much as i do!
i find that with this new look, i can't pull off girly stuff as well anymore, but there's a new kind of energy emanating and chic, tougher looks come much more naturally for me now.
i'm definitely loving and embracing the new change!

here's how it looks like when tied up!
absolutely loving the tortoiseshell effect here!
got so many compliments for this hehe.

hehe D did a great job of capturing my side view here, it rarely looks so chiselled!

and he helped me snap my outfit shots too!
im wearing a knit cropped top, boyfriend ripped jeans from thetinselrack (ttr) and my trusty satchel is from bershka!
oh and slip on shoes are from the editors market!
