Silver Sunlight

/ / m a i n / /

hello! here's my monthly hair update:)
this month i went back to headlines hairdressing for a new hair colour!
i'm so so pleased with it, when nic (my stylish) unveiled the colour i was like really super happy, its definitely my favourite hair colouring job to date!
now let's start off with the before shot.
my hair is damn dry especially at the roots, firstly cos i did perming last month, secondly because i'm honestly abit lazy when it comes to hair care... but i'll put in more effort from now on!
anyways, my previous hair colour is a dark olive base and ash highlights, which made it look kinda ombre.
all ready for my hair transformation!!
not sure if you guys can see but my black roots were growing out already so i definitely needed a touch up.
also, nic is really a very talented stylist when it comes to hair colouring!
this hair colouring technique is called balayage, the white part is bleach, which is needed for the colour i want cos its a rather light colour.
balayage will ensure that the highlights are well blended in and it looks more natural.
of course, bleach will make your hair dry, this is confirm one, so you'd have to expect that if you agree to bleaching.
i'm happily taking a shot of this heat transmission machine which is heart shaped, so cute!
and this is after bleaching!

and finally... here's the finished look!
idk why on camera it doesn't look as nice but in real life its blended in really well and i love it so much!

the balayage ash shade is blended in with the base and some parts of it are peeking out for a more natural look.

and now, for more upclose and selfies!
cos good hair day, justified reason, right? hahaha

thank you headlines hairdressing for taking care of my hair!!
