hola. good skin day and unbloated face (yayyy) calls for a few selfies!
lighter makeup on the face today, no mascara, eyeliner, brow mascara etc.
i've been meaning to do a new updated makeup tutorial but i can't seem to load videos on this platform hmm.
also, loving my new pink lippie that looks so natural and pretty in photos!
its slightly pinkier/reddish in real life:)

spent some time with nics again, this time i was tasked with the job of finding
1)a cafe along the red line, not as far as choa chu kang yet not as far as town
2) while sticking to a budget of about 13 or less
all according to the request of demanding nicole hahahaha.
but yes i managed to find such a place!
les patisseries
Block 186 Toa Payoh Central, 01-428
directions: from toa payoh mrt, walk towards toa payoh central where all the shops under the hdbs are until you reach blk 186. (approx 10mins walk from mrt)
i'm so glad we tried this cafe.
first off, we didn't have to wait at all, the cafe was rather empty on a weekday afternoon.
the price was very reasonable (for the mains we ordered), it came up to 12 per pax.
food quality was decent as well, i was especially impressed by their waffles.
we got the rose lychee waffle and i highly recommend it!
the waffles were really crispy, soft on the inside;
it came with sweet lychee bits and a generous scoop of strawberry rose sorbet, very very refreshing.
the scent of rose wafted as the plate was placed on the table, and it even came with real rose bits, impressive.
this is a really nice, tangy dessert to share and the unique flavour and pairing is a major plus point!
as for the eggs benny, it was alright but definitely not fantastic, i didn't quite like the bread but the salmon was good.
definitely heading back here again to try their other mains, waffles and desserts!
they're famous for their hazelnut tart i think, and horlicks waffles!
nics took my otd for me after brunch and we had fun!
i'm wearing the primrose romper from hvv, a perfect lightweight floral piece for summer!
tq nics for lugging back that heavy bag of 60 masks from korea for me hahaha.
love you much much hehe.
went to work and then dinner with the class after that!
this yy just landed in spore and rushed to join us, much dedication!
expression on point boys ;)
walked over to the merlion place/riverside and admired spore's beautiful night lights.
thought of D as we walked through this area, we love coming here at night just to chill and enjoy the breeze. poor boy was stuck in camp at that time booo.
celebrated eug's bday with a troll cartoon cake (elsa fans anyone?) and made him wear a hipster vest hahaha.
walked over to esplanade and watched the mbs light show from there, then the boys had a few drinks at harry's bar.
i tried like two tiny sips of the fruity champagne and it was BAD. :(
any form of alcohol i've tried before tastes so bad to me..
well, at least the others enjoyed it though!
till the next;
xoxo
