hey guys! random midweek post today to clear my backlog:)

i got some queries on askfm about what eyeshadows i use for my everyday look so i thought i'll just mention it again today!

i did a "everyday makeup tutorial" here last year, but this year it kinda changed already, so if you guys want me to do another one feel free to ask!

anyways, to the main topic!

the question i got is "what are your must have eyeshadows?"

i would say, Urban Decay Naked Palette 1 and 3.

i featured a look created using palette 3 in the everyday makeup tutorial so i won't talk about it again today.

pictures below show how i would use colours in palette 1 for a neutral bronze look with a tinge of gold.

palette 1 and 3 are both great for both daily looks and more formal looks.

i usually just switch between the two palettes depending on my mood:)

i got some stuff during sephora's 20% storewide sale some time back so i thought i'd do a mini loot post for you guys!

here's my most reached for lippie of the moment- Twig from MAC.

its a semi deep matte rosy-brown shade.

its not as deep as berry or dark red shades but still enough to give a slight sultry look thats classy yet fun.

here's how it looks like when worn:

another shade i got from MAC is Angel.

this one is a really sweet baby pink thats suitable for daily looks or when your eyes are more heavily made up (i.e smoky eyes).

i also got the biotherm gift set which was so worth it!

the gift set consists of the life plankton essence, aquasource serum(travel size) and moisturizer(travel size), and is the same price as the life plankton essence when sold separately lol!

so obviously must get the gift set right haha.

i wanted to get the biotherm life plankton essence cos it had so many raves.

its basically a pre serum, which helps lock in moisture, conditions your skin, soothes and plumps.

its very easily absorbed, non sticky and has a consistency only slightly thicker than water.  

this is definitely a will repurchase item for me!

i always change/try out diff skincare products, so if i repurchase it means i rly like it;) 

these are the free gifts!

i tried the aquasource serum already and i really like it as well!

for the moisturizer its in a gel form which i like, however it gives a tingly sensation when applied, not sure if its just me cos my skin in sensitive sometimes.

this is the Fresh Dare To Bare gift set which was really worth it as well!

it contains many of Fresh's best selling items at smaller travel size, which is perfect if you want to try out their different products before purchasing the actual full size.

my favs from this set are the lip polish and lip balms!

i have a bad habit of biting my lips whenever im focused on something (i.e studying) so i have to invest in lip products quite often><

last but not least...

guerlain's meteorites!!

this has been on my wishlist for so long omg.

its basically a highlighter, which u apply to the areas on your face where the light hits (i.e cheekbones, forehead, nosebridge).

i got this in shade claire, which is a pearly luminous shade:)

they look so pretty right!!

at this rate i won't bear to use them omg T.T
