so.. i got some advice from my friend yy that maybe i shld try a side fringe(after i posted a pic on insta, if you follow me you'll know which one!)
He said it looks better than my usual jap bangs, which i have lived with for the longest time ever!
And i thought, why not?:) I haven't had side fringe since sec 2 and to be honest im getting bored of my hairstyle haha, typical first world problems!
so.. side fringe yay/nay?? :)
well i like that it finally "allows my brows to see the light" haha, quoted frm nikks cos she said jap bangs cover my brows all the time!
leave me a comment on my askfm pls?:) i'd appreciate the advice cos im rly fickle when it comes to things like this haha!

ootd:
Cadence Crop Top in White c/o Twistpolka
Motel Venus Skirt c/o ASOS
Satchel c/o preorder shop (forgot which one..)
Wedges c/o Love Bonito
Review(ASOS Skirt): Im really into unique prints lately and this one from asos is really quite special! Haven't seen it in other stores before:) Its basically some greek venus print in gradient shades of blue printed against a white canvas, which makes it stand out! Material for this skirt is semi structured cotton, which is quite thick and is non sheer, but im not sure if it will shrink after several washes. I got this in UK6, my usual sizing and it fits pretty well, except its a little bit loose at the waist but only slightly. It has a back silver zip as well. As for cutting i'd say this is really quite flattering! I used to shun pencil/ slim cut skirts and opt for flared ones instead, but recently i'm loving this cut cos i realise it is quite flattering:) Overall im really satisfied with this item, unique prints are the way to go!;)
So yes i had a good day out with momsie for some mom/daughter bonding time which translates to cafe hopping and shopping haha:)
Had lunch at The Sushi Bar (located at Far East Plaza) but not much pictures cos we were famished and i was late cos i was at Salon Vim before meeting momsie :x
But anyways we enjoyed our meal!:) Mom approves of the salmon aburi hahaha ;)
And as usual, Salon Vim never fails me!:)) Joyce (my usual stylist) was sick but another stylist, Eric, did a fabulous job as well! I absolutely loveeeee the curls! Did the redken treatment this time and it was much needed therapy cos i haven't had time to head down since the dec hols last year :x
yay, shiny bouncy hair thanks to salon vim:))
And i haven't done a haul post in awhile so here's a beauty haul from sephora!:)
There was 10% off (cos i had enough points in my member card) so mom and i took the chance to stock up on some products!
First up... i got the GlamGlow Supermud Mask!:)
Got to love the silver pretty packaging;)
It comes in a pretty small bottle i would say, for its price (its not cheap)! One bottle can last 17 times if you use it on your whole face, or about 1000 times for spot treatments. So basically, a little goes a long way!
Here's how it looks like, kinda like sesame if you ask me :x
It smells of natural herbs and doesn't have the artificial scent that alot of beauty products have, which is a good thing to me but some may not like its scent. If you ask me, honestly i would say that its scent is acceptable~ Whats more important is that it works!
Mom got this Boscia Clarifying Detox Mask for my brother.
I've tried it before and its quite good, draws out impurities, controls oil and leaves a minty feeling:)
A plus point is that its quite affordable for a renowned brand!
And i got a new cleanser as well! I did alot of research online to find the perfect cleanser and this one has pretty good reviews! Rated 4+/5 on sephora's website if im not wrong!
Murad Clarifying Cleanser
Nikks recommended this concealer to me so i thought i'd give it a try:)
MUFE HD Concealer
Comes in a pen like design, twist and the product dispenses. This is definitely more hygienic as compared to the tube/pot concealers which is plus point! But i feel that this one dispenses a bit too much product each time. Coverage wise i would say its medium, good enough for undereye, scars or small blemishes. This shade matches me pretty well cos the makeup artist at sephora helped me find my shade haha:)
And my fav item of the day... Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette!! A gift from mommy:))
This palette was released not long ago and has been highly raved since!:) Its described as "gorgeous rose hues" which i agree with:) Have been using it umpteen times since i got it! I'll post a simple look i created with this palette soon:)
It came with four variations of its best seller, the eye primer potion as well! Which makes it really value for money, so if you're looking for a good everyday palette i'd def recommend this!:)
alright if theres any queries feel free to ask me here!
Till the next;
xoxo
