Whoopwhoop! Back with a Bella Stilo post!:) The last one was... months ago>< Sincere apologies!!!
So today's theme is... Knits!
Featuring...
Catwalkclose's Keira Cat Knit
Greenpoppies Denim Shorts
Black boot-wedge (my own)
Knits are this A/W's staple pieces. Even in sunny Singapore, now is our rainy and chilly season so knits are appropriate for once ;) There's something about that warm and snuggly feeling you get from knits that makes them so captivating. For me it reminds me of the overseas happy holiday times heh.
Most knit designs are meant to be slightly oversized, giving off the casual slouchy chic vibes, effortlessly.
And with the wide array of knit designs nowadays, you can experiment with different looks easily:) The above pairing will be the street chic look, more towards the edgy side, which is something new for me! (the 'old' readers should know im a hardcore fan of pastels hahahaha.) My fav one will be the Japanese knit look, as seen in ViVi :)
So yes, even in our weather you can experiment with knits! A safer option will be to get a knit cardigan first, since its something you can take off once it gets too hot (extreme weather changes lately i know..)
Hope you guys enjoyed this little snippet alright!
And a review for the catwalkclose knit in case anyone needs it!
Review(Catwalkclose): Has a cawalkclose label on it so I think should be manufactured by them:) I saw this design on one of the Japanese magazines, its an exact replica of emoda's i think. So for $26.5 this is really worth it since the emoda one easily costs $90+ and up:) The quality i really good too. Cat print is sewn on tightly, not printed one so it will last. Made of semi thick knit which i tink isn't too hot for our weather. I wore it out and didn't perspire heh. Love the slightly oversized design and its super comfy as well:) If you're a knit lover like me this will be a good buy for you!
Soooo, my fav angmoh boys came to spore pre xmas to see the lightings! And of cos i was their tour guide for the day haha.
And the poor boys had to cut botak heads cos of lice :( poor things! I know they hated haircuts..
Hehe, glad to see them so happy! :) Missing my fav angmoh boys now:(
And family brunch outfit!
Apparelize Glitter Sequin Top in Mint
Esprit Tweed Shimmer Skirt
TCL Suede Clutch (emerald green)
Review( Apparelize): I'm so glad i purchased this top cos it is simply gorgeous^^ Definitely my style:) The mint shade is not really true to my pics cos of yellow lighting, prob closer to apparelize's pictures. A very sweet mint nonetheless:) Made of chiffon with inner lining(non sheer), and adjustable straps(Y). The sequins are obviously the highlight of this top so I'm glad it was sewn on quite well. Though handwash is always advised so that its condition can be maintained:) Overall a good buy! A very easy to pair top:)
Review(TCL): Bought it in green as the other shades i wanted (pink/black) was sold out:( But I don't regret choosing this cos in real life the colour is a rich emerald green, classy and easy to match! Its made of suede so it feels quite nice to touch:) Comes with gold chain straps so other than using it as a clutch you can use it as a sling bag too. There's a flap inside so technically there are two compartments. Not super roomy though, prob can fit your wallet, phone, some small items and thats it. I also don't really like the stale weird smell that the interior has but after a while it goes away i guess. Overall a good buy cos i had a TCL $35 voucher ;D
& mom bought me a Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge at the airport!:) My first time using a pot rouge, only tried cheek tints like benefit's before. This one is def more creamy and the colour lasts longer as well:) Mine is in the hue Raspberry! Colour not really true to pic below though :/

& some skin care products since I haven't stocked up since like 4 months ago.. Got these at a good price during Metro's 20% storewide sale! Mom went bonkers shopping during the mega sale hahaha.
Fell in love with Biotherm's BB D-tox after trying the sample in Bellabox:) A really good bb cream! I like it better than my maybelline one which i stayed true to for many years. #unfaithful
haha anyways it really makes your skin instantly radiant! and dewy and even:) However if you want stronger coverage i would recommend liquid foundation instead cos this has medium coverage only~
Some close up descriptions just in case anyone is keen on trying it!:)
And these are pics from day 6! or was it 7?... zzz><
Visited the famous museum where Night At The Museum (movie) was filmed!!:) Awesome exhibits! Really quite interesting;) Didn't take much pics inside though, too busy seeing the huge dinos heh.

Washington DC!
The famous white house!!
Our local guide was telling us that if we see 3(or was it 4) flags being hung it means the president (Mr Obama) is home :D And it so happened that that day we saw like 5 planes heading towards the white house and it had the flags shown! So Mr Obama was in the plane, our guide told us! So lucky heheh.
Monument~
the guys joking around haha
they made us do it too!!
Fluffy squirrel!! Reminds me of Boo Radley.. To kill a Mockingbird, anyone?
& bro + dad visited an aquarium while the rest of us went shopping, cos the entry fee was crazy lol. And the only interesting/special exhibit was this one! Albino crocodile! Cool huh :)
